1. Skimming (อ่านผ่านๆ)

อ่านอย่างรวดเร็วเพื่อจับใจความสำคัญ

วิธีการ:

อ่านหัวข้อ (title) และหัวข้อย่อย (subtitles)

อ่านประโยคแรกของแต่ละย่อหน้า

มองหาคำสำคัญ (keywords)

2. Scanning (อ่านหาข้อมูล)

อ่านเพื่อหาข้อมูลเฉพาะ เช่น ตัวเลข ชื่อ วันที่

3. Intensive Reading (อ่านอย่างละเอียด)
